U.S. Open Adaptive Surfing Championships

The 7th Annual U.S. Open Adaptive Surfing Championships will be held September 5th – 8th on the north side of the Oceanside Pier, we are looking forward to another record setting year!
The Board members of Stoke for Life Foundation, the competition committee of the U.S. Open Adaptive Surfing Championships are so proud to announce the continued sponsorship of the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, The 2024 – 2025 events will be POWERED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF ST. AUGUSTINE! I want to thank the staff and all the students for all the support, we are looking forward to continue making history in the adaptive community.
The 6th Annual U.S. Open Adaptive Surfing Championships brought to you by The University of St. Augustine for Health and Science was an incredible event with world titles to be decided by the end of the four-day event. In 2023 the U.S. Open Adaptive Surfing Championships hosted 96 adaptive athletes from 18 countries from around the world. The U.S. Open ASC is the final event of the Visit Oceanside Adaptive Surfing Professionals World Championship Tour which features events in Hawaii and Cost Rica. Records were set as the prize pool purse for the U.S. Open ASC exceeded $30,000 dollars. The event was held in 3 – 5-foot surf, surging on the final’s day to a solid 4 to 5 foot.
