A New HOLIDAY Title from Celebrate the HoliDates® - The North County Moms

December Twenty-Five: 12/25  is a story about the traditions of Christmas through the eyes of a boy named Constantine. It is the third title of the Celebrate the HoliDates® children’s book series. It’s a fun and information-packed lyrical read that sparks wonder and reinforces a recognition of family-favorite rituals.

Celebrate the HoliDates® books are divided into three sections:

  1. Part one – A fictionalized reality wrapped up in a fun and educational story. Get ready to explore holiday symbols, traditions, seasonality, family and community bonding.
  2. Part two – The history section explains some of the origins and history of the holiday. Teachers love it because it doubles as a social studies component for academic and other educational purposes.
  3. Part three – The featured recipe of a treat mentioned within the opening story of each title. A fun at-home or classroom activity, perfect for making holiday traditions a practical experience.

At the end of each book, inside the Celebrate the HoliDates® Kitchen, the character Constantine and his mom create the recipe displayed on their kitchen whiteboard, simultaneously shared with the reader.

*Circle7531, LLC, publisher of the Celebrate the HoliDates® series, donates a  portion of book sales’ proceeds to orgs that support improving the lives of children (and adults) with Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome).

This title and its series are written by María Felicia Kelley. The concept was inspired by her youngest son, Constantine. December Twenty-Five: 12/25 is in pre-publication. The eBook is coming soon!
