December Twenty-Five: 12/25 is a story about the traditions of Christmas through the eyes of a boy named Constantine. It is the third title of the Celebrate the HoliDates® children’s book series. It’s a fun and information-packed lyrical read that sparks wonder and reinforces a recognition of family-favorite rituals.
Celebrate the HoliDates® books are divided into three sections:
- Part one – A fictionalized reality wrapped up in a fun and educational story. Get ready to explore holiday symbols, traditions, seasonality, family and community bonding.
- Part two – The history section explains some of the origins and history of the holiday. Teachers love it because it doubles as a social studies component for academic and other educational purposes.
- Part three – The featured recipe of a treat mentioned within the opening story of each title. A fun at-home or classroom activity, perfect for making holiday traditions a practical experience.
At the end of each book, inside the Celebrate the HoliDates® Kitchen, the character Constantine and his mom create the recipe displayed on their kitchen whiteboard, simultaneously shared with the reader.
