Meet a Mom — Ylleya Fields, Author of Princess Cupcake Jones
Ylleya Fields is a children’s book author and mom of six who started writing her popular series, Princess Cupcake Jones, after looking for books for her then four-year-old daughter “I wasn’t able to find books that had a character that she physically could relate to. After searching and being unable to find her anything, I just decided to write it myself,” says Ylleya. Along the way, the series has gained a star-studded following, including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Christine Milian.

Christina Perri’s name is synonymous with the iconic love song A Thousand Years. The hit, originally written for the Twilight movie series, turned the singer-songwriter into a multi-platinum artist. Fans of the films started playing A Thousand Years as their wedding song, making it one of the most popular first dance and aisle walk songs since its release in 2011. Fourteen years later, Viking Books turned the beautiful lyrics into a children’s book with Christina, a mom of two herself, as the author.
