Barnes & Noble Storytime with Maria Felicia Kelley, featuring “July Four: 7/4”

Maria will chat about her book’s exploration of Independence Day celebrations, summertime fun, the book’s recipe activity, and calendar awareness—themes perfect for young kids! Plus, a glimpse at American symbols and an intro to Independence Day history helps explain the reasons we celebrate.

Spurred by Constantine’s journey with Down syndrome, the series stands out for its mission: contributing a percentage of book sales proceeds to nonprofits that empower and support youth within the Trisomy 21, Down syndrome community.
