Sandollar, Twilight Highway and Slack Key ‘Ohana lead a sunset celebration of island-inspired sounds, live music and upcoming summer releases on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 3, 2026) – Pacific Records is bringing California coastal and island culture to San Diego this summer with the Pacific Records Festival on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Kate Sessions Park. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the free all-ages community event will feature live performances from Pacific Records artists Sandollar, Twilight Highway and Slack Key ‘Ohana alongside additional performances from VB By the Sea and The Tourmaliners.
More than just a live music showcase, Pacific Records Festival serves as a summer celebration surrounding a wave of upcoming July releases from the label’s headlining artists — creating a laid-back Southern California experience rooted in authenticity, musicianship and community connection.
California Coastal and Island Sounds Under the Summer Sun:
From surf-inspired melodies and island rhythms to harmony-driven Americana storytelling, Pacific Records Festival blends live music with beach culture, sunset views and easygoing summer energy.
Sandollar brings feel-good coastal rock and breezy indie songwriting, while Twilight Highway delivers rich harmonies and modern Americana influences perfect for an open-road summer soundtrack. Slack Key ‘Ohana channels island traditions, family connection and Hawaiian-inspired musicianship into a sound designed to transport listeners straight to the shoreline.
Together, the artists reflect Pacific Records’ artist-first vision focused on creating music that feels timeless, real and human.
“Pacific Records Festival is really about creating a space where people can slow down, connect, and experience music that feels authentic and rooted in California coastal and island culture,” said Brian Witkin, CEO of Pacific Records, Inc. “We’re excited to spotlight Sandollar, Twilight Highway and Slack Key ‘Ohana as they release new music this summer and bring together a community around live musicianship, storytelling and good energy overlooking the Pacific Ocean.”
More Than a Concert in the Park:
Designed to bring together music lovers, surf and beach lifestyle audiences, creatives and Southern California locals, Pacific Records Festival creates a uniquely community-centered experience where audiences can discover emerging artists while celebrating the spirit of California coastal and island culture.
As part of Pacific Beach Town Council’s Concerts on the Green series and Community Night, Pacific Records Festival invites residents and visitors alike to gather for an evening of live music, connection and community in one of San Diego’s most iconic outdoor settings.
Guests can expect live music overlooking the ocean, sunset vibes, community gathering spaces and an atmosphere that feels equal parts beach jam session and neighborhood summer celebration. A variety of food and beverage options will also be available for purchase throughout the event, creating the perfect setting for an afternoon and evening at Kate Sessions Park.
While the event itself is free and open to the public, the showcase also serves as a key visibility moment supporting streaming growth, social engagement and upcoming releases for Pacific Records’ headlining artists throughout July.
Fans can also pre-save upcoming releases from Sandollar, Twilight Highway and Slack Key ‘Ohana ahead of Pacific Records Festival, giving listeners early access to the summer soundtrack shaping Pacific Records’ July artist rollout.
Building the Next Wave of Independent Artists:
Pacific Records continues to focus on developing emerging artists into breakout success stories through live performances, streaming momentum, festival opportunities and authentic fan community building. Rooted in musicianship and coastal culture, the independent label continues to grow its presence throughout Southern California’s evolving music scene
