World Rhythm & Dance Festival

Oceanside’s 2nd World Rhythm & Dance Festival is happening at the Oceanside Library Courtyard and Civic Center Plaza on Saturday May 16, 2026 (10:00am-5:00pm).

Find us at the heart of the city’s cultural district celebrating global culture with live music with Afro-Latin Band Kimba Light, FREE community dance and rhythm workshops taught by Master Percussionists Mestre Amen Santo & Monette Marino Keita, dance workshops featuring Samba & Samba Reggae, Bollywood, Afro-Caribbean Fusion, Afro-Peruvian Festejo, and Mambo! Kids Activities with Claudia Lyra and BRAPA. Live dance performances featuring Sambamerica Dance & Drum Collective led by Vika & Rafael Hernandez, Roxanne Rojas de Blanco Dance Co., Tania Araoz and Caporales Victoria, Natasha Tia & Dance Co., Wheelchair Dance Organization, DanzArts SD, Mo’Rhythm with Monette Marino Keita and Nila Banerjee & RDM Studio!

Be sure to walk around the plaza and check out our world artisan and wellness market featuring Botanica Quetzal, Claudia Lyra and BRAPA, Anoint for Wellness, Simply You Lifestyle & Wellness, Ancestral Roots Rising & the DanceHouse, and Jett of all Trades, amongst others. THE ENTIRE FESTIVAL IS FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
