Francesca Orlando’s Grilled Peaches & Cream - The North County Moms

 

Looking for a unique, light and healthy dessert to cap off a summer meal? Try these grilled peaches and cream! It’s a recipe from Doctoral Candidate, Francesca Orlando, M.S. NTP, CGP –
Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition®
and founder of Healthful Living SD!

Ingredients:
  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
  1. Preheat Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high.
  2. Prepare Peaches: Brush the peach halves with olive oil.
  3. Grill: Place the peaches cut side down on the grill. Grill for 3-4 minutes until char marks appear and peaches are tender.
  4. Prepare Cream: While the peaches are grilling, mix Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and honey in a bowl.
  5. Serve: Top each grilled peach half with a dollop of the yogurt mixture. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve warm.
