Francesca Orlando’s Watermelon Pizza - The North County Moms

 

Looking for a festive and healthy fruit splurge for the kiddos this Labor Day weekend? Try this watermelon pizza! It’s a recipe from Doctoral Candidate, Francesca Orlando, M.S. NTP, CGP –
Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition®
 and founder of Healthful Living SD!

Watermelon Pizza
Ingredients:
  • 1 large watermelon
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
  1. Slice Watermelon: Cut the watermelon into thick, round slices.
  2. Prepare Topping: Mix Greek yogurt and honey in a bowl.
  3. Assemble Pizza: Spread the yogurt mixture over the watermelon slices. Top with mixed berries and fresh mint leaves.
  4. Serve: Cut into wedges and serve immediately.
